MedCoach Terms of Service

This document is a legal agreement between you and Vasyl Zadvornyy (individual entrepreneur, "we"), owner of the MedCoach app.

By using MedCoach, you agree to these Terms.

1. What MedCoach Is

MedCoach is a mobile app for personal health management. It allows you to create reminders for medications and healthy habits, including with AI-powered recognition of prescriptions and voice commands.

2. Eligibility

MedCoach is available to users 18 years and older. By registering, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old
You can enter into legally binding agreements
The information you provide is truthful

3. Medical Disclaimer

MedCoach is NOT a medical service.

The App does NOT provide diagnoses
The App does NOT recommend dosages
The App does NOT replace consultation with a healthcare provider
Information in the App (e.g. habit pack descriptions) is educational, not medical advice

Always consult with a healthcare provider about your health and follow their prescriptions.

We are not liable for consequences of using the App without consulting a doctor.

4. Your Obligations

By using MedCoach, you agree to:

Not use the App for illegal purposes
Not attempt to hack or bypass App security
Not violate rights of other users
Not upload harmful content (viruses, spam, copyrighted material)
Not use the App to provide mass medical care to others
Comply with applicable laws

5. AI Processing

The App uses AI (Google Gemini) to process photos, PDFs, audio, and text you provide. You understand and agree that:

AI may make recognition errors
You must verify AI-created reminders before saving
Before photographing prescriptions, remove or blur personal data of others (e.g. doctors)
We are not liable for AI errors

6. Paid Features

Core MedCoach functionality is free. AI parsing has monthly free request limits. Paid features (if available) are described in the App before purchase.

Payments are processed via Apple App Store and Google Play Store under their terms.

7. Privacy

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the MedCoach app, design, code, graphics, and content belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, royalty-free, personal, non-transferable license to use the App per these Terms.

Data you create in the App (your reminders) belongs to you.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the App. All your data will be deleted within 30 days.

We may terminate service for Terms violations, with email notification.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The App is provided "as is", without warranties
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total maximum liability is limited to $50 or fees you paid in the last 12 months (whichever is greater)

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. For material changes, we will notify in-app or via email 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes agreement to new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Ukrainian law. Disputes are resolved in Kyiv courts.
